Click-through rate (CTR)

The percentage of people who saw a post or link and clicked it: clicks ÷ impressions × 100.

Click-through rate (CTR) is clicks ÷ impressions × 100 — the share of people who, having seen your post or link, actually clicked. It's the clearest signal that content drove action beyond a passive like.

CTR is where social meets your website, which is why tagging links matters: without UTM parameters you can't tell which post earned the click. A strong hook and a clear call to action are the two biggest levers on CTR.

TipBuild trackable links with the UTM link builder so every click is attributable.
