Reach

The number of unique people who saw a post at least once.

Reach is the count of distinct accounts that saw a post — each person is counted once, no matter how many times the content appeared for them. It answers "how many people did this actually get in front of?"

Reach splits into organic reach (people who saw it without paid promotion) and paid reach (people reached through ads). It pairs with impressions — reach is people, impressions are views — and is the denominator most pros use for engagement rate.
